I've actually thought of switching to Debian (since 11.04, I mean... since Unity).

Right now I'm using Gnome3-ppa (not to mention that most of my apps are already coming from ppas).

Thank you perolozac. That was exactly what I needed. I'm running Mint 11, and your fix worked perfect. I just had to grab the 64 bit version of module-init-tools for my system instead of the 32 bit version in the link you posted. It worked great, and I actually registered here just so I could thank you.
