I was getting these errors on a server running vmware, and luckily found this page where the guy figured it out.
:: Code :: Mar 29 21:45:24 pluto kernel: [31842.107195] rtc: lost 1 interrupts
Mar 29 21:45:56 pluto kernel: [31874.277115] rtc: lost 6 interrupts Mar 29 21:46:45 pluto kernel: [31922.609790] rtc: lost 6 interrupts Mar 29 21:50:17 pluto kernel: [32135.061790] rtc: lost 5 interrupts Mar 29 21:50:17 pluto kernel: [32135.062761] rtc: lost 1 interrupts Something like that anyway, great job to figure out this solution; :: Quote :: If anyone ever comes across this, I have found a resolution. It's VMWare causing these error messages.
If I simple enter: host.useFastClock = FALSE into /etc/vmware/config, it stops the message. I agree, it solved it. This was using vmserver free edition version 2. |
