A minor (?) glitch occurred during my du today - the first in about 3 weeks.

Background: 64bit sidux installed about a month ago. The current smxi run installed new kernel

Pressed the wrong button, so previous reply was incomplete.

Kernel was upgraded to 2.6.31-rc9-sidux-amd64. 250 odd packages were to be updated.

du hung during completion of setup for mysql-server-5.1.37.2. Pressed ctl-c after 15 minutes waiting. du continued, but with error of course. smxi hung again while trying to remove temporary holds for initscripts.

After reboot, had to rerun sgfxi for nvidia module.

When rerunning smxi, everything appears normal - nothing to upgrade or errors to fix.

dpkg -l indicates that mysql-server-5.1.37-2 is installed.

This may well be a debian problem rather than smxi. I can provide the log if needed, but to my eyes it doesn't show any specific errors other than the fact that I ctl-c'd the mysql-server processing.
