Posted: Jul 20, 09, 15:15    Kdenlive install help
Dear All,

Hello . I have sidux and I am trying to install kdenlive with no luck. I read that smxi will install it, however I could not find the package with smxi or at least do not know how to find it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Did you already try (as root) apt-get install kdenkive ?
This will install kdenlive and also 12 other packages needed.

Is your distrbution updated?
Are there broken packages in your system?
In my system all dependecies are fullfilled, included those.
I use synaptic to check everything before any install (using apt-get install) or even before a DU through smxi. You could try this way to check if everything is ok.
