I don't expect anything spectacular to happen with 3.0. Right now I'm waiting for Con's CK patch set to arrive before I begin spending much time on it.

I'm using it, not Liquorix patched of course, just vanilla. damentz is right, there's nothing spectacular about it. Except, it's spectacular for me because it (finally) has a fully working driver for my wireless card (broadcom 4312-lp-phy, aka 4315). As Linus himself said, it's another boring, steady progress release.
