The elder geek comes through again with a restore show desktop icon tip.
:: Quote :: Open Notepad and enter the following text:
[Shell] Command=2 IconFile=explorer.exe,3 [Taskbar] Command=ToggleDesktop Save the new file as Show Desktop.scf then drag and drop the icon on the Quick Launch bar or whatever location you want the shortcut to appear. Except please, dump notepad and get a real text editor, do yourself a big favor, crimson editor is a perfect little free text editor, it even includes a small file to replace notepad.exe with a link to crimson editor, and since there is nothing and no time that notepad does anything good, that's no loss. For those interested, crimson editor is a slightly lower featured copy of editplus, by far my personal favorite for editors. |
