Where to start building my site

Hi,

Ok everthing is working and I'm ready to start building my webpage. When I go to my website using [link] I can see the page telling me that Apache is working on your computer you may now start building your website" now where do I go to edit the welcome page it showed me. Thankz

Read this thread, especially the second posting.

Once you understand the idea behind virtual hosting, and learn how to set it up, you'll see it doesn't matter at all where you put your files on your computer, as long as you've told apache where to look for that site.

If you're on Windows, Apache's stuff is in c:\program files\apache group\apache2\htdocs

But I wouldn't use the default folder, that's just for the Apache default page, I leave that alone.
