After I backported the 4.5-1 Liquorix kernel, I experienced the 100% CPU use and error spam on my AMD machine as reported here: bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=114201

and blacklisting the sp5100_tco module did fix it, as noted in the bug report. Also, using the source code for the module from the 4.4 kernel in the 4.5 kernel also stopped the error flood, but I'm unsure if that could cause any further regressions.
