Liquorix Kernel with patches for Baytrail?

hi,
thanks for your attention

There are a number of patches published for Baytrail SoCs, used by low cost laptops, chromebooks, tablets etc, which haven't been put into mainline kernels yet.

Is there a chance that a liquorix kernel might be derived with these patches in place?

I'd love to use the kernel to get better performance from my convertible tablet/laptop!

thanks
Paul

Hi speculatrix,

Are the patches here what you're talking about? github.com/AdamWill/baytrail-m

I wasn't aware that there were any out-of-tree patches that would help immensely with compatibility on BayTrail based SoC's. Also, these patches don't appear to change performance in any way - you will probably want to find a way to get access to the latest mesa drivers, such as through the xorg-edgers PPA on Ubuntu, or simply by running Debian Unstable if you so choose.
