Well, since everyone is now running away from Oracle projects, I wondered when Libre Office would enter Debian as a replacement to OpenOffice.org, and here's the debian forums answer

It depends on exactly what you mean by this. Squeeze will ship with open-Office (actually Go-OO). Post Squeeze Debian will be switching to Libreoffice. Libreoffice will be available in backports (once Libre is ready, they're still finalizing the first release), but Squeeze will not automatically switch you from OO to Libre, you'll have to install from backports yourself.
