I heard about this a while ago but then didn't hear more. Great to see Google pushing an actually free codec for video, unlike the Apple sponsored version they are pushing, which is patent encumbered and really not a good choice at all for the new <video> tag in HTML.
Score 1 for google being not evil here, score -1 for Apple falling into the dark side. |
