Why it is disabled? You can compile with this option enabled?
Have this option enabled could help to extend battery life saving energy and enable wakeup from usb device (like keyboard or mouse)

Hmm, I can probably turn this on in the next updates, but I'll also need to disable mouse polling, which is currently set to 500hz. If I don't disable 2ms mouse polling, then your mouse will turn off after a few seconds if you leave it idle.

Are you sure? I recompiled the kernel with your .config but USB_CONFIG_SUSPEND enabled and I've no problems...

I use an usb wireless mouse and a internal ps/2 touchpad on my laptop. Both works fine
