Hello I got an error 100 when I tried to remove a kernel in smxi today. I was wondering if someone could help me with that and what is going on. Also because of it I can't install a kernel with smxi get the same error.

error 100 means that apt returned an error, specifically it means you exited apt when it showed an error, without completing the operation or fixing it.

It's impossible to know what package is broken in your apt, if you run, as root: apt-get install -f
it will show something, might be the error, hard to say.

It could be any package, not necessarily kernel, since all that tells you is that something broke and you exited apt with probably a ctrl + c.

Show the output for: apt-get install -f
and maybe we'll get a hint.
