smxi - software install on sidux & extras?

Hi,
I am new to smxi but did perform a flawless dist-upgrade yesterday using it and it does work perfectly and is one of the best things I have ever used.

I would love to be able to manage my new sidux system with it, but I am not sure how to install packages with it? I guess I don't know the "right" package name, is there an easy way to find this?

I also read that there is supposed to be an easy way to install all the "extras" for dvd movie playing, backing up dvd movies, etc, but I can't find that in the forums or on the smxi site.

Please let me know if you can help.

jakesully, I sent you a PM on the sidux forums explaining how to get the apps you are needing. I see it is still in the outbox so I am guessing you haven't read it yet.
