document.cookie doesn't show all cookies

At some forums (such at Discuz 7.0), when I log in and execute javascript:alert(document.cookie), the secure cookie is not displayed. Is this some security measure the forum employed? Is there still a way to get the complete cookie using javascripts? Thanks.
