Nvidia made their current beta 185.18.14 to current default stable.

This marks a slight change in how nvidia is proceeding with driver development, they did the same last week for 180.60.

It looks to me like nvidia is also slowing down and probably reducing their overall *nix dev group, but being nvidia, my guess is they are cutting fat not meat, and improving overall work flows, unlike ati, which appears to simply be terminating linux support altogether, except for a bare minimum level. Time shall tell.

updated to handle fixed libdrm2 in sid, now sgfxi for fglrx tests for > 2.3 but less than 2.4.10. The fixed working version is 2.4.11 in sid now, that should probably go to testing fairly soon I would guess.

Added patches for 180.44, 173.18.14, 96.43.11, 71.86.09 drivers for 2.6.30 kernel.

185 drivers work fine with 2.6.30.

I assume nvidia will release updated versions of those other drivers fairly soon.

Thanks h2, lappie needs the 173 driver for 5200 nvidia. Although I don't plan to upgrade .30 kernel till it matures, nice to know it's there.

new fglrx 9-6 added, good news: 2.6.29 still works, and sgfxi -f still installs driver.

Bad news? same old, the debian sid packager is still broken, looks like its maintainer has, as usual, gotten tired of the endless failures and moved on to do more productive things with his/her life. Good for them!

No support, no patches, for 2.6.30 kernels. 2.6.29 debian sid/liquorix kernels work fine.

Improved missing gcc version, now tests for and installs if available missing gcc version, and exports gcc to CC, otherwise exits with error.
